| | Photos from Draining Around Tulsa < on 11/4/2011 8:42 PM >
| | | Yo hey guys, I moved to Tulsa last fall and kinda just stumbled onto the whole urbex scene. I thought it was pretty dope, so I started hitting up some tunnels that were posted on here and Underground Ozarks. I took a bunch of photos and finally (like a year later) got around to uploading them. I hope you guys enjoy them! My first time draining was when me and two of my friends checked out the tunnel that goes beneath the Centennial Park dock. We started at like 21st Street/Riverside and trekked all the way in to the Park. When we got to the outlet, we heard all the water from the lake/pond and thought it was raining. We nearly freaked before realizing it was just the water from the lake overflow. We didn't know how to get out, other than by climbing out from under the dock...although now that I've been back a couple times, I've realized it's wayy easier to just go out of the manhole that's there. Anyway, I was the first guy to climb out from beneath the dock, and as I climb out, I realize that there is a guy and girl on top of the dock making out with each other. They totally freaked when they saw me and were like, "How.... What... Where'd you come from??!!" and then my buddies started climbing out too, and the guy and girl were totally in shock. We explained to them where we came from and they were like "OMG that's amazing" and we left. The looks on their faces were priceless. Here's the link to that first album: https://picasaweb....wE&feat=directlink Here's the link to all of my photos from last fall/early spring: https://picasaweb....1sRgCLPnkNWG4KayVg Let me know what you guys think!

| | | Nice! I see you all have explored Elm creek quite a bit. There are about 40 other large drains in Tulsa, enough for months of solid draining. I've had many instances of odd looks and questions after popping out of lids in random parking lots and fields around town. I always love that.

| | | Yeah, Elm Creek is one of my favs. I made a map on google maps of a bunch of tunnels and places that look like they might have decent tunnels. Want me to send it to u?

I'm pretty sure he's good on that.. ;^) We've explored most every drain in this city, and even thrown several parties in Elm Creek. Just keep an eye out, I bet you'll find our tags. There is one tag in particular that may be of some interest to you in a particular drain, but you'll have to find it! It took us a long time to do too. Feel free to join us anytime, we go quite often.
edit - I recognize a tag or two from the second album... [last edit 11/5/2011 9:35 AM by KingJalopy - edited 1 times]
