My boyfriend and I did some extensive googling last night to find this place because it just looked so damn cool. We figured out that the orphanage in the thread above matched the picture on this flickr, which also conveniently listed the whereabouts: http://www.flickr....osebery/101679581/ So... we got on google maps, pinpointed the location, and set out for it. It was in a straight up HOOD area and MAN are there some hills for roads out there... Drove by where the building was and we were greeted with an empty lot. A bulldozer still hanging around, those cost money to rent per day usually, so it had to have been pretty recent. Put a bit of a damper on our night. Also, Ogilvie Hardware Warehouse is currently either being converted into a climate controlled storage facility or an apartment complex, so that place is pretty much kaput on exploring. I've never been in there, but my boyfriend has been in that building more than a few times. He said there was a rope hanging in a bathroom on the second floor, along with a suicide note. He doesn't know if it was someone goofing around trying to scare people, or if it were actually legitimate.
