Reach Building < on 10/18/2011 4:44 AM >   I was walking by this place a month or so ago and i saw a couple guys doing some work on the building. I asked if it was ok if I went inside to take some pictures. After taking the pictures I asked one of the guys what the building used to be. He told me it was part of the A.J. Reach sporting goods company. Well, it turns out that A.J. Reach used to make the official balls for major league baseball, back when Connie Mack was commissioner of the league. A.J. Reach also made gloves, hats, shoes and other various sporting equipment. This building is the only one left of the complex that took up an entire city block.
