Hi all, it's been forever since I posted anything, so here are a few shots from a gorgeously decaying location I recently discovered. Plenty more where these came from in the full set on flickr. Hope you like 'em!

There's no picture here I don't like. That light bulb pile is bizarre!

Thanks! Agreed on the bulbs. There was also a nice assortment of bullet casings and shotgun shells at various points in the house. Everything is just like we found it upon entering. So bizarre, but so cool!

Houses are hit or miss for holding my interest. I like this set, good find sir.

The Durango '95 purred away a real horrowshow - a nice, warm vibraty feeling all through your guttiwuts. And soon it was trees and dark, my brothers, with real country dark.

Thanks! I didn't have high hopes at first, but when I walked in the front door, I just had to stand there for a moment and take it all in. The pix really can't even capture just how much stuff was in this house.

That first shot really is amazing. You've made a dumpy old house look really cool. I think shooting abandoned homes is the hardest.

Thanks so much for checking out the shots, you guys! We really had a blast at this place. I went first by myself and then got ahold of one of my friends who I knew would love it here, then we both went the next day. I'm sure I could still go back and get totally different shots just because of how much stuff / changing light / things falling, etc. etc.

Nice set. First thing I noticed was the book shelf filled with books, which I've ran across in my explorations.

Thanks! That book room was very cool. I was really surprised to see all the books still in the shelf, especially with the entire ceiling caved in!

I'm thinking that the type of people who usually go into these places and trash them are scared to go here because it literally shares a yard with an inhabited home and is very close to a busy road. So I'm sure that helped with the amount of stuff here and lack of graffiti and destruction.
