From ATL to PDX

I've poked around UER for years, but up until recently I was Atlanta based. I made a few UE friends there, however I've yet to make any here. I was hesitant to toss a post up here for no better reason than to acquire local UE friends, but hey, what do I have to lose other than dignity.

My transportation around here's limited, as I sold my car prior to moving, but I'd still like to do some poking around. I'm open to hearing suggestions but I know the limited hush-hush nature of the boards, so I'd rather start by meeting some local folks.

So Portland, introduce yourself please.

I'm pretty new around here too, and also with limited transportation!

I've tried to do a variety of things in the immediate city, with little or no luck. I can understand why there isn't much of a UE community in portland

Yeah, the shanghai tunnels. Those are in the touristy/open-to-the-public genre, and I've heard they aren't too exciting.

I mean I know of some places I've been meaning to check out, but they all involve a pretty decent amount of risk and would have to be done at night. So it all depends on what you're up for

damn, i just looked on the tunnels website, they want a minimum of 15 people per tour and you have to pay online in advance to reserve your tickets! that sucks!

i'd love to go to those other places you were talking about, but i think it would have to wait for another trip, the nightimes are already booked up for us.
