I don't tie off because I think the danger keeps me sharper and a harness takes you out of it. I believe I am fully capable of handling the physical danger and don't find much challenge (no risk, no reward, no fun) in using 100% attachment.
Falling backwards (or from the catwalks high above) here might have hurt too:

A few nights ago, I walked away from the very same bridge you were drooling over in the link above. Putting an $18/hr internship and subsequent $60K salary on the line just didn't seem worth it to me.
I'll go on the record of saying unless you are just fibbing for internet glory, your not a bad ass, but a careless fool.
