Location Database voting bug.

I think I found a bug in the Location Database voting system.

Came across bug here: "Flamborough House", http://www.uer.ca/locations/show.asp?locid=20413&action=voteagain

I rated the "Flamborough House" location a couple of days ago, when there was only one picture gallery, with 75 pictures. I viewed most of the pictures, and I gave the location a rating with no problem.

Just today, I noticed that someone posted a new picture gallery into the location, with 23 pictures. I viewed all of the pictures in the new gallery, and I thought that the location deserved a better vote, so I clicked on "change your vote" option. However, when I clicked on it, it said I only viewed 23 pictures, and that I would have to view at least 49 pictures to change my vote. I know I viewed probably about 65 out of the 75 photos in the first picture gallery when I rated the location for the first time, but now, the system seemed to have "forgoten" that I have already viewed them.

Just on a side note, I love the idea of voting on the sites in the Locations Database, maybe you can add a "top ranked locations" list?

I show that you've only looked at 27 pictures.

Remember:
- you have to be logged in when you look at pictures.
- you have to actually look at them, using "mark read" does not count as looking at them.

it could be that when you first rated the location, i hadn't yet implemented the code to ensure people looked at the pictures.

No, that wouldnt be it, I never click on "mark read", and Im always signed in.

I had to view at least half of the 75 photos when I rated the location for the first time, and now its telling me I didnt view that many photos when I clicked on "Change your Vote".

well, i don't know. there's nothing in the code that would remove entries from that DB. must have been a glitch or something...

No problem, I will see if I can recreate the bug, and I'll let you know if it happens again.

I will have to find a location that I voted previously on, but now has a new gallery to view. This will probably take a few days before I find one however.

I found another location that I have previously voted, and has a new picture gallery I havent seen before. I tired to recreate the bug, but it didnt happen this time.
