We've actually been talking about doing an event here in Memphis since Chattsplore. We just need to gather a few more sites.

I would absolutely love that. This spot looks awesome. That first graffiti shot is really cool.

That was something I'd hope could happen.

I would love to see a Memphis event, actually regular events on an alternating schedule throughout the South East would be quite an achievement. Seriously, lets put something together.

We have been heavily discussing a Memphis event and making sure we account for all possibilities. The biggest obstacle we are faced with is too many heads at one location which brings on much attention. Most of the locations are in very active areas of town. In Chattanooga most of the locations were out of sight and big groups did not bring unwanted attention except for a few locations. Im sure Atlanta is much like Memphis and you guys are faced with similar obstacles. I would like to talk to you guys about how you do crowd control and make sure everyone has a good time without getting caught.

I like the idea of alternating events throughout the SE and creating a close knit network. Making one trip to a city isnt enough time to see all it has to offer not to mention you are not able to spend much time at one location as you would like. I had a blast at Chattsplor but felt kind of rushed and wasnt really able to take in all the locations. This is why I really like idea of alternating events so you can return, know what to expect, and focus more on the locations that interest you and your crew.

I was thinking about this when considering going to Chattsplor. Could you just divide people up into groups of 3-4 and rotate them location to location? Then have a final meetup in an out of the way area.

Stoner1 you are exactly right. We face the same problem with many of our ATl locations and kkor hit the nail on the head with the solution. You take multiple locations and rotate small groups through on a schedule. You can even take it a step further, by getting a feel for the group skill level and interests you can even run noob level and experienced level groups at the same event. Hence the joke "a pair of Festicles".

If folks in Memphis and surrounding areas want to come together for an event we would be happy to share any of our lessons learned from doing our ATL event for almost a year now. Chattanooga has been showing out lately with some exceptional explorers and and two events well done. SPECTRE supports the organization of regional events and the creation of a very closely knit network of explorers to exchange information.

I agree.... the best thing to do would be to split up into groups of 4 to 5 people each and rotate locations - some areas we could hit as a group but most would need to be kept on the extreme DL.

I would really like to see Indecent Exposure put together an event sometime in November before it gets too cold. GET TO SCOUTIN!
