| | New to UER - first documented exploration w/ pics < on 9/12/2011 1:22 AM >
| | | Hello UER. This is my first post here. I'm a media artist/photographer/videographer (amongst many other things) currently living in Hamilton, ON. I've only done a few explorations, and can't wait for more! My most recent exploration took me through some drainage ditches and tunnels through the Chedoke area. There's some mellow tunnels, and some beautiful natural-looking sections. My favourite part was this outlet which provided a good challenge for climbing in.
We discovered this seemingly abandoned dwelling along the waterway. There were syringes on the ground not too far from here. Pretty sketchy.

| | | Very nice set! Someone's gotta say it, so I will: This set is fantastic and the write up is excellent, so kudos. For future reference, they should go in you area's regional forum, not the rookie section. Here is a link to Ontario's regional forum, you're lucky, it's a very popular area. A mod will be along and move it for you sooner or later, so don't be surprised if it seems to disappear. Keep it up though, I'm digging your photographic style.

| | | There is no reason to move it as it is a new member and this is the Rookie Forum. The OP is welcome to post any of those in the Photo Forums or the Ontario Forum. But this thread will stay here. Thanks for pointing the Ontario Forum out for the OP though.

Actually I managed to stay pretty dry. The little edge on the side of the outlet is climbable. I've been through about 2km worth of drains that connect with this area. I want to photograph more of it soon.

| | | How high was the ceiling in there? Did you develop a hunch in there or could you stand up straight?

You definitely need to hunch. Ceilings were just under 5ft high.
