|  | | | I'm looking for some UE'rs in London or some good spots to check out in London while I'm there for the first part of October. I'm going to be in London for 5 days and then Holbeach for another 4 days visiting family; would love to be able to check out some places while I'm there.
I'm sure I could look up some places and hope or even chance stumbling across somewhere promising but I have a better chance of just getting hopelessly lost. lol
Anyone have any suggestions or tips I'm all ears! Also anyone that has some free time that week and wants to do some exploring with a couple fellow UER's from the states definitely let me know.
I do plan on going to Abney cemetery if possible, outside of that just some tourist destinations planned and the zombie crawl on the 8th, b/c that's just going to be awesome.

Absolutely! We will be getting there on the 5th of October, going to be staying in London (well Kennsington to be exact) until the 11th then heading up to Holbeach for 4 days.

200 miles is a bit of a distance lol No worries, I have a couple of leads for when I make it out there. I'm pretty excited, been a while since I've done any exploring so trying to make up for lost time. Just hit two places this weekend was great until my camera died

Derelict Places is a bit sleepy, and doesn't involve much UE, mostly just exterior pics of old buildings. Your better off browsing Flickr groups, and contacting people individually there or through personal websites.
If you like cemeteries, last i heard i think it's West Norwood cemetery is doable, you'll need 'something' to help you with a 10-12ft drop into one of the crypts.
There aren't many explorers actually in London, I only know of about 6 or 7 active ones. Most people come from outside. I live in the Borough next to Kensington, but don't know my plans yet as i'm currently in Moscow. Depending on what your into, i can pass on your name to others or give you some places.

I will never turn away a chance to explore a cemetery, especially any in Europe. I appreciate the tip, will definitely add this to the mix.
I haven't said too much on 28days simply b/c I don't like to jump straight in right away, gotta get the feel for people and places first ya know? Seemed fairly friendly there but still, I also don't want to just jump out there and say "Hey! Where are some hot spots?! Wanna go?" when they have no idea who the hell I am. lol
So far I've got a couple cemeteries (Thank you again) and really just plan keeping my eyes open and my feet moving. See what happens!
