I heard they have it open now and people can go. It always seems more interesting when the pics and story are after hours or not allowed haha. I enjoy military history and since its an old site with 3 erra styles of defense I thought it would make for some nice pics. My first time hearing of it was watching the movie Shutter Island and I fell inlove with the brick buildings over run with growth. I hope I can get to Boston sometime and see it in person. Most of the buildings have been torn down, the ones that are left have been boarded up. Check it out off season and you might be able to poke around more ;) It's not the tourist spot that Fort Warren is so you should have the place to yourself most of the time. Last time I was there (a month ago I think) I saw turkey and deer, and they were still knocking things down. The buildings that are being saved are marked, obviously the bunkers aren't going anywhere, just the brick/wood structures.
