Looks like you have some interesting stuff in there, but this could benefit greatly by cutting it down a lot. I found myself skipping through a lot. But always good to see some other videos coming out of UE. "Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore." - Andre Gide

I think video documentation is underestimated as an art in this practice. I feel it's much more difficult to present a compelling video than it is a compelling still image. You've done really well capturing an iconic site in the Northeast, and it is probably the only known, well-edited video record of this site. Kudos, imho. You've done us all an incredible service. Next time you're out here, let me know! We'll go exploring, just like old times. Bearings: A Geographer's Blog

I also skimmed it, but that was extremely cool--I really liked the camera scanning the textures. The moss floor, for example...I was thinking it was trees and brush outside. It actually surprised me to see the chair!

It would have to be. One of the last scenes where the lone chair was in front of the windows is a wall that fell off in the winter of 2011. http://www.flickr....irdlingphotography

Thanks everyone!
I know it's a bit long, but I wanted the experience to be as real as possible. It really took awhile to get through that tunnel.
This footage was shot before the demo started. And maybe a few days before it's downfall as far as being a time capsule if you get my drift.
As far as the soundtrack/score DJ Shadow +Exploring +Photography =Awesomesauce.
It's with great respect for the community of explorers, photographers, historians and everyone else that have the courage and the desire to see places others wont, go places they shouldn't, and share with an audience forgotten history, lost secrets, hidden truths and observations and studies of human nature that I make these videos.
Also, cause it's fun. And Urban Exploring, or whatever you want to call it, is fucking rad.
I love my adventures, I really enjoy my photos, and I have met and made great friends because of it.

eh i dont know. just what i would do personally.
Most of the time i would agree but places get to the point where it doesnt really matter at all anymore. Like who the fuck cares, the place is finished anyway. Nothing you do will make it worse.
