Holy crap, what's up with the gallows? Is this from a movie set, or is it just that old? When was the last time we hung people in Canadia?

Hmm, I have visited most plane crash sites in southern bc, but that shot you have doesn't look familiar to me. You have me intrigued.

EDIT.... Oh NVM, you had me thrown off with the Fraser Valley title. I know the plane.

In BC: 1959.
In Canada: 1962.

I feel like the contents of these photos are too good to be true; like they must be from a film set or something. Either way, nice finds!

I could believe the buildings in picture number two. We have a lot of places just like those where I live and they look to be in similar condition (some are better taken care of than others, but it's not too far from what the more derelict ones look like).

The gallows though...I don't see how wooden gallows could have survived over 50 years. If nothing else, kids would have wrecked it by now. Or it would have been torn down for being used as a "toy" (ie: trying to hang each other).

It's both a film set and an abandon film set. Lots of buildings
