Depends on the type of zombie I think. Those ones that actually run? Zombie would win. The slow, staggered walkers? Meth heads might be able to pull off a win.

Until they start jonesing for another hit, then even the partly decapitated slow zombies would have no problem.

If a zombie eats a methie, would it, in fact, become a methie too?

The meth head would likely have already scavenged for copper piping, which hypothetically makes a great weapon against zombies. Meth head win.

TVM Group has announced that it is getting ready to apply for rezoning for the old hospital in East City. They hope to convert the hospital into multi-residential space as well as some service commercial space including banks, restaurants and hair salons.

-Source- Peterborough Examiner

On my recent visits, the decommissioning of the hospital has continued at a slow pace, with a skeleton crew working five days a week.

I drove by today and it's looking really sad smashed stuff everywhere all the coils are gone from the roof like this place has been hit with a figurative bomb it's really sad.

When we went last fall, it was effortless to get in by the morgue but the neighbours apparently do keep an eye on the place. We weren't in there long, just enough to get a few shots of me in a drawer ;)

I read that a company wants to turn the building into condos. I'm not sure i'd want to live in hat part of town but maybe by the time city council realizes we should let people build stuff it will be a nice part of town. You know i'm not sure how there going to turn a hospital that's had a bunch of additions and renovations not to mention scrappers in it. From my research it's quite difficult to turn a hospital into much. Because of all the nursing stations and stuff. But i'm at least glad joey might be saved or maybe this will be a fluke like all the past plans. Peterborough city council needs to wake up.

But that's just my two cents.

A Peterborough Examiner article states that the hospital has been completely gutted. Stripped bare to its concrete shell. The plan is in motion to create two hundred and some condos for the elderly, complete with a cafe, a hair salon and Community Care. I'll update the post soon with my most recent visits.

Saw it with my own 2 eyes. Joey is completely gutted to bare concrete.
But maybe new exploring opportunities will arise shortly in Peterborough. In addition to the Norampac plant that closed recently, it was just announced that the Baskin Robbins plant will close on Sept 28.
