| | | Forgotten DC-4 fuselage < on 8/6/2011 6:11 AM >
| | | The past couple years when I've been on vacation in Cleveland I've driven past this airplane fuselage, which was later ID'd as a DC-4 from VASP, a Brazilian airline. I've been meaning to stop and take pictures of this for years now, and finally did while in Cleveland in July of 2011. I believe that this is actually located in the city of Brook Park, but its right on the Cleveland border. I know this may not technically be a UE given its open location and ease of access, still, if you're in the area, its worth checking out.

| | | Nice, I wonder where the rest of it is?
The personal responsibility train left the station years ago, and you gave it the finger as you watched it leave. |

| | | Hey, gang. Like to share something similar. This old Convair used to be on a small field right on the side of Ohio State Route 2, just west (IIRC) of Port Clinton. Years back you could see it on Google satellite views, but it's gone now.

That plane off Route 2 was mentioned in the same Airliners.net forum thread where I got the info on the plane I photographed. Great pics too! Whomever chopped that up sure did a job of it... Jeff
