| | | | A friend and I got caught looking around an old school in northern Italy by 3 Polizia Locale, were escorted out and taken to the station, statement took, half arsed search of my bag and then sent on our way. I've heard that police/security will escort you out, but unless there's any signs of break and entering then it's up to the land owner to chase you with civil charges.
Not entirely sure how accurate this is in the real world, but they didn't seem too fussed at the time about a foreign national trespassing. Although some guys I know of got deported after being caught in the Milan metro system...
