| | | Very good, I love how you got the AMtrack name in your photo, very impressive, my only critique with this is that you shouldn't name location names in your posts.

| | | Apologies to the laptop people if the pics are too big. Someone was complaining about the small pop-up pictures today, and I pretty well agree.

Ah, the picture names. Oops. I'd love to take credit, but that shot was taken at arms length, without looking. I was trying to be stealthy, but I had the flash forced on. [last edit 7/22/2011 6:45 AM by FastEddy - edited 1 times]

i am the other yourself. "Have you been half asleep and have you heard voices? I've heard them calling my name. Is this the sweet sound that called the young sailors. The voice might be one and the same. I've heard it too many times to ignore it. It's something that I'm supposed to be." http://www.flickr....orers/collections/ |

| | | Nice pics of the town/swamp. I really like the sixth pic. Everyone in the valley knows what and where this place is. I wouldn't worry about posting info related to this site(whats left of it). Just don't let the docents catch you there, they give tours occasionally.

| | | oh awesome. I love seeing this place slowly sink through other peoples photos! Thanks for sharing. Great photos! We see "The mayor" all over on our explores. That guy gets around! Well, I guess that means that we do too. Ha. Were the ticks bad??
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here." |

| | | We went in from the North to avoid five-oh and/or docents in Alviso, later than we wanted. We had ACE and Amtrack schedules, so it was easy to hunker down and take pics when they came by. It was about every 30 minutes from about 2:30pm onwards on a Friday. There were another couple explorers out there and we spooked each other. After that and the more-frequent trains, we decided to head out and hit another site instead of exploring the buildings to the south. One tick we found later in the day. It could have come from here or the 2nd site where we went. If you like the lichen, I've got another photo I'll have to post when I get home. I decided I didn't like the lack of depth of field, so I skipped it. The other site is also very well known, but we hit it with a twist and got some video. I'll do some editing and post up sometime.

I would have preferred more depth of field.
