| | | I know these have probably already been explored by many of you. I visited a couple months ago and thought they were very cool. Apparently one of the main entrances is sealed up now? I made it as far as under the ucla bridge.

| | | Pretty cool, how far was the drop from that concrete span in pic #1? Nice red hipster shoes...

| | | Thanks! I'd say about 20-30 feet. The lighting was bad in that area, but down below were dirt mounds and a bunch of scrap. Relocate - haha, my friend's shoes were definitely much dirtier after that expedition...

| | | Nice, I love tunnels. It's been far too long since I've gotten into any. Ironically enough, I was at Brown a couple of weeks ago. Though I did manage to find an entrance to their tunnels, between a busy schedule, having nobody to go with, and a roommate hell-bent on sending me to jail for it, I wasn't able to swing it. That circular tunnel in your 8th pic is a bit odd. Usually these utility tunnels are square, and excavated and poured before being backfilled with dirt. It almost seems like this one was bored through the ground. Either that, or they decided to build it with RCP for some reason. Keep up the awesomeness.

| | | hmm, never really thought about the design of the tunnels. most of them appeared to be circular like the one mentioned. thanks for the feedback!

It's not that he likes steam tunnels, more that he works in one.
