Posted by decrepitude Always enjoy yer posts hoodrat. I was outside Virgina city last weekend and found a couple cool old mines as well. Who did the music by the way?
Thanks. That music was composed and performed by Vangelis. Yeah, I've heard Virginia City has a ton of mines running underneath the city.

Posted by CAJim What a horrible thing to name a mine.
Any idea what they were mining for? Cool music, btw.
It's pretty obvious what they were mining for and what tools they used to do it. Miners get lonely man. Sure beats a mule. Tourism, human circulation considered as consumption is fundamentally nothing more than the leisure of going to see what has become banal.

Did you take the man way to the glory hole. Were there any vertical shafts? Was that the rear entrance you penetrated. [last edit 7/14/2011 3:30 AM by robk700 - edited 1 times]
