|  | | | Hey guys, my first post, but I've been a fan of the site for quite a while now. Ok, so to the point. I'm wondering of a certain place in Waldorf, MD along Crain HWY and Rt 5 (if you head northeast on Crain from Rt 5 toward the Beltway). You can see a few tall smokestacks from the highway and I want to say it's either across from the Chili's or it's further down Crain/Branch Ave and it's behind the new Target. I can't remember right now. Hope that description helps. Someone who knows something please let me know either here in the boards if it's kosher or via PM. I'd love to know more about this place!

1)Looking it up in Google Earth.
I'm not from your area, and I found it in less than 5 minutes from your description. There are cars and trucks in the parking lot, and well-maintained landscaping. It's definitely in use (as of when the satellite image was taken).
2)Drive past it. It's right on Cedarville Rd. Shouldn't be too hard to find since you can see the stacks from the highway.
Looks to me like a natural gas power plant due to the lack of significant loading bays and the huge storage tank.
