2.5 massive houses + ex-hotel (possibly more looking at google maps) with creepy underground tunnels, sometimes broken through to other tunnels and even a junkie's IV with seemingly fresh blood to scare us plenty (first thought => torture? herp derp!)

Nice ones! After scouring the net for info/pics, I was beginning to think it was a "new" find. Seeing that you shot those in 2009, I'd say not even close ;)
Did you also get into the hotel nearby? I didn't see any pics from that in your gallery.

I think it was a hotel.. not sure though. Maybe you went in 2009 there were just more "things" inside? All the rooms were empty when we went.
Speaking of homeless, what has been your experience encountering them in Austria, if any?

I'm not sure if whatever it is is still there? Also there are a bunch of reeeally old and damaged roofs of houses near that free-standing 2-story window-thing, not sure if those are abandoned?
It's crazy though, the 2nd building back area is just dirt and some HUGE holes with several "lakes" of water you have to be careful not to fall into ;) I wish I would have taken pics for comparison, it's a big muddy mess.

And the one with the cellar we couldn't enter properly (apart from the cellar of course). all the windows were nailed close...
What, however, really raised my interest were these two pictures:
What was this place being used for before it was abandoned? There are 6 or 7 MQ (Museumsquartier, a self-defined artsy and alternative space) graffitis. The two facts, however, that the MQ is, for once, only 10 years old and the wall is at the very back of the place and totally surrounded by what starts being a forest don't make any sense whatsoever to me...
