The Roundhouse - MN

The roundhouse which was operated by the Duluth, Missabe and Iron Range Railway, has seen its share of graffiti and parties, but is still standing. There are many different rooms, all of which are very interesting to explore. I only have a few pictures, but I will take lots more on my next visit. Has anyone else been here?

Is that the one by Shoreham yards? I was there years ago, it looks different now. I seem to remember more junk and train cars stored inside... and I don't remember the large section at all. I think we spent too much time running from workers to see all of it!

Turn off the internet and go play outside.

Nope, different one. This one is in northern Minnesota.

it looks like fun.

If you want to protect the locations you love to explore, don't talk about them online in public!
If you want to make exploring friends, send people private messages! Meet up in real life! Get off the internet!

I recognize that roundhouse! Almost got busted by the train bulls on the way out.

I went back today in the early morning. Most of the pictures didn't turn out very well due to the low lighting but the site was absolutely breathtaking. The early morning is in my opinion the best time to go, but I could spend all day.
My camera ran out of batteries, so I had to switch to my phone.

Been there a while back. Cops came, but were cool, and told us to call the property owner the next time. Also, a few years back, a police officer was severely assaulted in this location when he was looking for some kids who were partying in there.

Geez. All you guys with your beautiful pictures of stuff on cloudy, overcast and/or rainy days! I really wish I had been doing some photography this weekend instead of just kicking ass with nothing more than a headlamp...

Pfffh...... Who needs pants? I'm the cock of the walk, and I want people to know it. It's way more fun scaling razor wire fences pantsless. The challenge raises the stakes and makes things more interesting.
