Seriously though, there's a few people on here who can tell you about the downside of weapons, and how a trespassing ticket turns into a night in jail and felony charges.
This topic has been beat to death over and over on UER. There's a little button that looks like this  which can be your friend.

nah, but seriously, a 4D maglite and a couple of buddies should be all you need. if you bring a gun to an abandonment and the cops catch you, you're looking at B&E, criminal trespass (as you have a gun), and carrying a concealed weapon (assuming you're not a CCW permit holder). that's jail time there, buddy, not just a fine.
if i was going on an explore and someone told me they were armed, i'd tell them to get the fuck out. guns and UE are not a good mix.
