Walking down the canal trying to find the tidal entrance, we eventually found it and realised it was full to the brim, so no luck on eternity then. knowing deep throat was just a bit further down we decided to go try that one out, we walked all the way down deep throat , a nice crouched walk all the way. We quickly lifted a gutter box grill and got out of deep throat before heading back to my car.
Before giving up on eternity, i thought that we should quickly look for the man hole entrance, we found it. Right beside where i parked. Quickly entered while some Ute was slowly going past, thought he was calling the cops but no sign of them anywhere when we exited.
Walking down eternity was nice, saw lots of eels and found the stop signs very handy, as one of us nearly fell into one of the holes.

..did you climb the ladder to the balcony ? i've never been great with heights and worse with ladders, no cages and a huge drop to concrete to contend with..so have never tried.

i didn't, i'm not good with heights either. but my friend did. He said it wasn't too interesting. I want to get someone up there though and get a shot with steel wool, as cliche as that might be 
i climbed the second ladder that leaded up to the big grill/open area. but got down quickly because of heights and ladders and slippery things.

Good to see the entry from the manhole has just as much filth to step through still, almost lost my boot in it last time. Never liked deep throat drain myself, hate having to crouch, but eternity makes up for it afterwards. Have fun swinging over the GPT? Nice shots btw
