I was just there a few days ago, my friend and I were longboarding the hilly trails down the buoy, tons of fun.

But he was sitting in my car trading the trucks off his old deck for the one he just bought at carve and I took a stroll around that building and the one behind the quiznos next to it. The hobos are everywhere but I never have a problem with them. When your 6'1 and built like a brick shit house walking around in a wife beater with a helmet and skateboard they ignore you like the plague.

It looks like you could get in from the east side of it, there is a low window someone could probably scramble up.

If there is one thing urbexing has taught me is that a pack of cigarettes goes a long way when looking for information.

Or I could boost a light weight up to the window, maybe they can unlock the front door from the inside? lol

theres so much info and history here

im planning on visting most these places soon.

It is where Houston began... I've been down there too, there are buildings all over the place down there. That green building I have heard a lot of negative things about, all the scary things of white suburban people's nightmares.

Hopefully I can start walking again in the boot on Monday. Going to physical therapy after that and then trying to loose weight. I need to get to my exploring weight. Or fighting weight. Whatever you call it.

Do any of y'all remember the bridge going over Buffalo Bayou that had the rooms under it?

It was torn down a few (or maybe several, now) years ago. I can't remember the road it was under.

I always told myself I'd come back later to check it out, and of course by the time I made it back to Houston, it was gone.

edit: I think I found the area it used to be: Franklin @ Louisiana. As you can see, it's now an elevated intersection. Nothing of the rooms under the road appears to exist now.

no those rooms (the crypt and brewery) are still there

heres my post about it

the city never got ownership of the donnellan crypt and as a result filled it and and use it as thebase of the bridge
