A friday night after work we headed off to do a drain near my mates house, we walked for half an hour down this drain full of cockroaches and spiders webs and ended up with nothing but more crouching down. After we got out we called another mate and we decided we would go check out swoo, these pictures are what followed.

Good to see you made it into old swoo, nice and muddy was it and is the blue stuff still growing on the walls in the side passage?. I don't think i ever went all the way down to the outfall, always had a lot of water and stinks. Did you check out the pyramid too? not sure if its still there, there used to be a painted sigh in the drain that was "this way to pyramid" or something like that

I don't remember seeing any blue stuff. Thats really all we saw of old swoo, didn't want to go down to far cause we left our stuff in the main drain.
The outfall wasn't smelly or anything, was good.
yeah we did get to the pyramid was pre cool, and there still is the sign saying this way to pyramid.

The blue stuff is down past the water, gets dryer on the other side, nice brick work down there. Good shots from swoo. Which drain was it at surry hills you did? looks familiar but don't think i know one there

did you go into the mills though ? very much worth the effort, and if you look you may see getting in is far easier than appearances may seem.

not that night, we plan on doing it soon though.
apparently when we came out of summer hill drain there was security up at the gates. so was good that we didn't do it then.

I was glad that I found this footage as most of the old brick section has been ripped up so it will be of interest to many Cave Clan members (especially in Sydney).

The footage is dark at the start but gets brighter as it goes on (it’s a 3min 30sec clip).

I chucked it in HD on YouTube to try and get it a bit clearer in the dark sections, however YouTube have blocked it in some countries so I put it on Vimeo as well.

Delete the ad on YouTube to see any subtitles.
