Canada's Stud - Northern Dancer, Part 1

A lot of people think of GM when they hear of Oshawa, others know it for one of its former most famous studs, Northern Dancer. No, I’m not referring to a place where you’d pay a hefty cover charge and buy outrageously expensive drinks; I’m talking about thoroughbred horse breeding. This farm is the birthplace of a great racing champion, winner of the 1964 Kentucky Derby, who went on to become “one of the most influential sires in Thoroughbred history”. Of what is left of the property, after a portion of the property has turned into housing already, there are still several homes and numerous barns left. On this day Beery Bunny and I visited three of the smaller houses and four of its barns. Since I moved to the area I have always marvelled at the beauty of this property, its rich history, and the beauty of the horses grazing it their numerous fields. Although it is sad to see the farm abandoned and soon to be fully taken over by development, I was very excited to be able to finally take a peek inside.

Sorry for the many pics, as I said we saw 3 houses and 4 barns, 250 pics down this amount.

Nice rubber chicken find. My favorite has to be #14 though, that bear with the fish is creepy for some reason. Poor fish. Nice pictures!

why?

They say "you can't judge a book by its cover!" I say "YES you can, if the cover has a girl on it with a cock in her mouth, its PORN!" if she's 18 and the cock is black, its GREAT porn!

U-2-guy - It's an abandoned home, I have no idea if there is gas in the cans. There was a full bottle of Aunt Jemima's Maple Syrup in the cupboard.

Match Girl - Ya two of the homes weren't shy with the paint colours. One had the brightest teal blue you've ever seen that wasn't found on a tropical island.

Thanks guys!

Even though this is in the DB, it's always nice to see familiar sites through a fresh set of eyes.
And I still like the Superman sketch.

...but not as much as the rubber chicken, the greatest gag prop of all time!

YES!! Nothing like a little Girl on Girl action in a farm!

The area was huge and even though we hit so many houses/barns - we barely scraped the surface of this ghost hood. contents included: nude girl calendar, BRIGHT coloured paint, a cat kitchen and flooded basement - not to mention one house was leaning to the left (gangster style); lizard kitchen, lion Den (complete with lion paper), the rubber chicken in the closet along with private documents from the last owner...seriously who leaves this shit laying around...

Sorry for all the shots. I have TONS! PS - sorry, We obviously cannot see this in the DB.

1. Barn shot

2. L'Ali Really wanted in...she took out that door! (KIDDING, it was open)
