Amazing how many current UE locations are thanks to Agnes. I just remember our clothes dryer floating around in the basement …had no idea the devastation that was occurring up and down the east coast. My current employer even suffered considerable damage – I’m currently working “under water”.
If you’ve ever seen pictures of the area in the 60’s, it’s pretty surreal; like the eras should be flipped.

I am not going to say the name of the area but I fish./swim there often. I have never seen those stone ruins. Are they by the church? The car looks like one at the top of the falls a bit.

Well, it is a state park, so it’s not exactly secret & it’s not posted. Yes, it is (was) a church. It actually burnt long before Agnes. It is up on the hill to the right where the row of homes were. If you want PM me for GPS coordinates.
