These photos are from a couple of places I have visited in Atlanta. I'm looking for some feedback to help me on my next UE. Thanks.

I'm left feeling very empty when I look at these... They don't speak to me at all.

Pictures need a subject, then they will spark an interest and the feeling of emptiness will no longer be there.

Just any feedback. Oh and I am shooting with an Olympus E-600. ISO 200 mostly.

Fair enough. Thank you. Each place speaks to me differently because of history and the state it is in. When I went to this place I felt empty and alone and I guess it showed through on my shots. I will keep this in mind.

The last two photos are raw.

last two arent bad - in fact they are pretty cool. i agree with the above about the "selective desaturation".. just kinda takes away from the photo i think. it can be done effectively probably but these photos would be much better without that. i dont think any of these photos are badly composed really... work on figuring out exposure and lighting and leave out the added color to selected areas - trust me.. the ideal would be to use the least amount of photoshop/post production as possible... meaning you want to get the photo looking the way you want it to look with the camera and your operation of it. of course a little touch up and correction is a given, but dont over-do it.. i would definitely like to see more of your shots too

No critique, just a comment... photo #1 looks almost identical (same landscape, same towers) to the view from my backyard except for the red pole.

A few seem to be leaning hard left.

Try the crop tool, easier to rotate and remove blank edges.

I generally dont like selectively desaturated photos. But that's just me

The rest arent really striking to me either, but 5 is best
