| | | I love that boat! Cool story. The guy is losing money and say F8CK IT and ghost rides the shit out of it to Hamilton! He is my hero. LOL!
Someone get their Nautical on and Yarghh your way through some images!
I'm typing this with my middle fingers. I love the smell of mold in the fall. |

| | | i went on her with permission(more of a we wont look deal) years ago, before the fire. if i recall correctly, there was a pizza oven on one of the lower levels. my dad used to life on his houseboat in that harbour, so i kayaked around that ship alot. i would not sudgeust swimming to it. id be rusty. i have also gone aboard the old tug boat and barge that were near almost beside ti, i dont know if they still are, but the "harbour master"(dock supervisor) got pissed, so i had to get off of it.i heard, and i dont know if it was true, that that fug was supposed to tow that ship away, but they ran out of money or something like that. besides, i dont think they could get rid of it anyway. it is a landmark. withought it, i think alot of people would be very lost. related to Jordan harbour, just on the other side of that bridge (inland side) there is what looked to be an abanodoned house and "harbour". anyone explore that? and i have to admit, i wish i had camera back then because that ship made for some kick ass silhouettes. te masts sticking up above the trees, very neat. | | | Here's a big of background info on the ship for those interested which also includes some footage from alternate angles as they went out in a boat to film the story but didn't board. http://www.youtube...atch?v=p4Udy8D9pqM If I am not mistaken I believe Access All areas also has a write up about spending the night on it and a few photos as well. yeah, I put a link to that excerpt on infiltration on my post. they didn't spend the night but they mentioned how cool it would've been, and they did board it at night. I would have loved to explore her in that condition.

| | | Interesting, as soon as I saw the title I thought of this ship but didn't expect it to be actually about that boat. Always wondered why it was there, as I only moved to the region around 2002 I had assumed it had been there 50 years or more, not since just '97.
