| | Abandoned Grain Terminal < on 3/15/2011 2:46 AM >
| | | Hello everyone! This is my first post. I think I have a very exciting place. My friends and I explored this building in new york city. My whole life I have seen it and have always wanted to go inside. Its beautiful. It still has old machinery and a great view at the top. I hope you enjoy the photos. Let me know what you guys think. I also have an awesome video for those interested. If you guys want to see more photos, let me know and I can give the link to my blog. If you are interested in any nyc explorations I am happy to share. For example the freedom tunnel. I love this sight and am so happy I found a community of people who appreciate such a special hobby/lifestyle!

| | | yes, and if you wish to be spared, I would think about changing the title of this thread, and any other mention of it within the thread. Other than that, nice explore.

| | | I changed the name to something more discreet. Yes, it would have been better if we haden't jumped on the roof, but it turned out okay.

| | | Just tried getting in a few days ago. No luck... No easy way in unless you go on a holiday or at night. But going to try again in a few days. Holidays coming up ;] Just some shots of how close i was able to get before hearing the chain saw and the guy cooling out on his forklift on the phone for 2 hours. Literally... we went in he was on the phone... left 2 hours later. assuming they were on lunch or something hopeful there he was on the phone. Regardless good times. Nothing like exploring with in city limits. So many risks yet so much more rewarding! Can't wait to try again.

| | | Nice pics! I was under the impression that this site became completely inaccessible because I haven't seen any recent posts about it, but now I guess I'll give it a visit sometime.
