Freedom Tunnel

before i start, i would like to say i did a search, but didnt find anything relating to what i was looking for.

i met up with someone from here and we went to explore the Freedom Tunnel. We entered from the north side. It was kind of getting dark when we entered the tunnel, but with flashlights there was enough light. the amount of "good" graffiti there was absolutely mindblowing.

we also stumbled upon someones house. we called out several times, and when no one answered, we peeked our heads in. it was super cool to see the way these people live. it was my first time to witness that, and i give them alot of credit. we didnt touch or destroy anything, just snapped a few pics and left to keep exploring.

Being that we entered from the North side, i have a question about a section of the tunnel that i was unsure about. Under the Trump buildings, it looks as though it has its own station. Do you know if they have cameras/motion detectors down there? or is it safe to walk through?

i would have posted pics, but the kid i went with took all the shots, then deleted me as a friend on facebook, so i dont think he was a big fan of my personality lol. so i cant get any of the pics.

peace

My buddy and I went to the freedom tunnel a few weeks a go. it was awesome. beautiful graffiti. we almost got caught by a jeep going through the tunnel so you have to be careful. We did see an active amtrak train also. Great place but hard to get into and there are serious consequences if you get caught. And no there are not any cameras or motion detectors.

I know... there are no cameras in the whole tunnel. Not even under the trump buildings.

There's a great spot under the trump buildings where there's a motion sensor, camera and speaker - the person watching you can yell at you and hear what you say back.

them: "where you going! we're calling the po-lice!"
me: "uhm, but we are the police"
them: "LOL! oh hey what's up! be safe!"

We went on our way, dodged some trains, set some things on fire, and came back through there a few hours later.

It was an entertaining evening.

Your mileage will certainly vary. They're definitely watching under the trump buildings. Actual freedom tunnel though is a breeze. Plus not so many dangerous, deranged drug addicts and random dead bodies as in decades past...

If it looks good, Loot it.
