Sadly, this place wasn't anywhere cool as I had hoped. It's a fallout shelter in the basement of an occupied building. The doors are pretty awesome though.

The entrance

This door was welded shut, mutants behind it?

It was basically a long hallway with rooms running off both sides

A lot of the rooms where bathrooms, which I guess is good if you are sheltering a lot of people

Civil defence manuals, old computers, various trash

Cots and red cross equipment. At least you get gorgeous faux wood paneling on the walls as the world collapses outside!

This was right by the entrance blast door, decon shower?

Not the most interesting place, but an interesting place to visit from a historical perspective. From what I have gathered it was constructed in the late 50's or early 60's and could still be used if needed. One of the rooms was full of server towers which were active and I guess being used by the building above.

I think that's pretty cool. I'm super curious why they welded the other one, as well. You'd think they'd at least use it for storage or something.

Its prolly an active space and they don't want people gaining access there.

I tried to figure it out from the floor plan....It was right next to the entrance so it would seem silly to have two entrances right next to each other. Beats me.
