Magoos Mansion 08 (redux)

This place has been decaying since the late eighties. Once a prominent individual in the town, ha passed and left the estate to his wife. Funds were dried up as the kids took advantage and left. Poor Mrs. Magoo was left bankrupt and the house was repossessed. It sits and rots to the power of Mother Nature.

Whoa, wicked cool--love your shots. Especially the typewriter, I always love pics of those things.

My girlfriend has wanted to visit a mansion for a while now. So far I've been telling her there's no such thing. Why would they just leave a mansion to rot? I always figured there'd be too much realty value on such a thing.

Thank you. There are plenty of mansions around. Just got to look for them.

I love it when the floors are missing… makes for very surreal shots. Also reminds you to look before entering every room!!

That family needed one of those reality shows to come in and help them clean up!

Weird too to see motion sensor lighting in one shot, and a 75 yr old typewriter in another. Did you find his coke-bottle glasses lying around?

I was thinking that too! Just missing the creepy handyman and a wild raccoon.
Great set and find Krush! I just hit a mansion this week before the snow, but it wasn't as cool and filled with history as this one.

I've been there. Only I called it the Bukater House. It's a really cool house. Great shots.

Damn Krush, excellent find and shots, bro!

That place looks rather disgusting inside, I like it!
Any idea how old this place is? I'd guess mid 1800's from what I can see of the interior...

I love exploring mansions... most of the ones I've been in don't have much left behind though. There was one in Kentucky I am absolutely in love with, if I had the means I'd fix it up and live in it...
