Water Works in Snow & Ensley AL

greetings all, new on here and just wanted to say hey and share some stuff i've done. i apologize in advance if i don't follow all the site rules to the letter right off the bat, but i swear i did read them.

i'm in atlanta, so i'm hoping to see some of the awesome places that you guys are posting photos of on the board. i freelance whenever i can, but mostly sports right now.

the only local place i've been recently is the ruins, which has been done to death i'm sure. i attached some shots that i grabbed after the snow anyway.

there's a couple other places i know about, and i'm sure you guys probably do as well. since i can't see the full list, sorry if i'm repeating anything.

the number one spot on my to do list right now is the olympic tennis arena near stone mountain. last time i checked it hadn't been demolished like they were planning.

there's also that place over by the 5 pts marta station with the trees growing out of the roof. there's always a ton of people around so i haven't quite figured out how to get in there just yet, but i pass it every day and it gnaws at me every time.

last but not least, i saw a couple posts from people out in b'ham, and there's a spot out there that i've been to a couple times and wanted to mention. it's a house over in ensley that's been abandoned for years, but it's pretty well preserved in that most of the owner's belongings are still there (last time i checked was in nov). it's been properly trashed, but very few things seem to actually have been taken out. i've posted a couple pics of it as well, and if anyone's interested in checking it out, send me a message and i can give more details. i trust you can tell which are the ruins and which are ensley.

so anyway, go easy on me, it's my first time and all those other cheesy cliches. later.

p.s. i unclicked the popup thing when i uploaded the images, but it's still doing it. sorry about that.

Greetings and welcome! Must agree with Naaman #7 is sweet, but I do love those old buildings with relics. I am not far from the Mountain.
