and drains, I haven't bothered with them since I was about 12. We would steal beer and cigarettes from our parents and then bring girls down to our Secret Sewer Hideout. kinda like the ninja turtles, but we had beer, cigs and chicks. never had pizza tho...
|
That is actually pretty funny, never thought that kids actually did that (in the drain i mean). Anyways, like i said, i didn't mean to offend or piss anyone off, im just doing like everyone else, sharing pictures and voicing my opinion. I actually would like to meet some of the interesting people on this website V.s being hated by them. So if i came on a little strong with my comments, my apologies, it really wasn't intended that way.

No offence was taken, just a lil friendly advice about being carefull in buildings.
They say "you can't judge a book by its cover!" I say "YES you can, if the cover has a girl on it with a cock in her mouth, its PORN!" if she's 18 and the cock is black, its GREAT porn! |

I won't ruin your spots, don't worry. It just happened that my buddy and I found from the pictures posted here that this spot seemed very interesting and wanted to check it out. Its a shame that they took down the WSIB building before we got a chance. We actually thought that people on this website would enjoy them more then freak out about it. If we knew this would have been the case, we wouldn't have done it. If we do end up entering a place that was discovered here or by one of these members, we promise to respect everyones want in preserving these areas and will not do anything that may in anyway result in the permanent closure of the location. And again, to whom we may have pissed off by walking up there, We are sorry. we would really like to be more part of the team. And hopefully some of you will let us

most interesting? Hummm I'll be the judge of that. I don't remember saying anything about going to any meet. I don't have any interest in UEing locations that I have been to many times with large groups of people. Especially after the shit that has been going down in the last few months- people riding unicycles on roofs, Cel phone calls about security/cops on location, people getting busted, etc. Its not worth the hassel... are you coming to the "northern campout"?

Depends on your charge....trespassing is just a ticket (~$65), but if they decide it's break and enter it's a different story.

| | | Posted by tower_060 Plus you walk into houses/buildings full of mold and asbestos or "rain drains" which is full of shit, do to the cities Inability to filter feces out of the water during stormy weather |
lol, what the hell are you talking about? Theres a difference between a storm sewer (or "rain drain" as you so eloquently put it), and a CSO drain or full on sewer. Even real sewers are about 90% dish & bath water mixed with like 10% diluted sewage. Regular storm drains carry nothing but water runoff from the streets, diverted creeks, sidewalk catchbasins etc... Regardless, those of us who explore drains (or rappel or climb cranes for that matter) typically do so with proper means of protection. Theres a difference between doing something scary, and taking a stupid risk that could kill you. I'm all for the adventure of this stuff too, but dont pass judgement on something you obviously know NOTHING about. oh, and on a side note, did you guys actually climb that water tower in the long branch arsenal lands? Im guessing thats where your avatar is from...

"oh, and on a side note, did you guys actually climb that water tower in the long branch arsenal lands? Im guessing thats where your avatar is from..." Yep

I don't know were you live,(but if you live between hamilton and Northbay, this will apply to you) Have you ever noticed a van parked outside of your street, feeding smoke into the Drains? If you haven't and if you don't know what im talking about, go do some research. If you actually know what flow testing is and what a weave is used for and why they do smoke testing, then come talk to me. Because obviously i know something about this matter, doesn't it seem like it? Do you know how many contractors ignored the legislation of separating CSO drain and storm sewer drains in the construction of houses pre 1980's? seriuosly, Im not some fucking dumb ass that believes everything thats posted on the stupid internet. I've had enough jobs to have first hand experience and have enough friends that are all over the career chart to find out the facts v.s fictional bull shit ( and yes that is how i know about the shit in the water, since my buddy manages the engineering firm that does the testing for most of ontario). You don't want to believe me, I don't give a shit. I'm really not here to argue. You want to see it first hand, go on south service street in mississauga between hurontario and cawthra. Youll find a creek there, go under the bridge, if they havn't fixed the sewage going into the "strom sewer", you'll find shit all over the walls coming out of a small pipe. I haven't been there in 3 years, but it should still be there.
Even real sewers are about 90% dish & bath water mixed with like 10% diluted sewage. Regular storm drains carry nothing but water runoff from the streets, diverted creeks, sidewalk catchbasins etc... This is only true when there hasn't been a rain at all in the last 48Hr. I can't remember the stutistics, but the plant beside marie-cirtus can only handle so much. Thats why they starting to rebuilding the treatment plant were the leash free park was.
