Went on a little photography trip Downtown in Greenville.

These buildings seem to be devoid of any movement or use...

Im wondering if anyone up here knows if they are still occupied...

i looked threw a couple of broken windows and saw that there were one or two over head lights on... but no people.

One of the crawl spaces on the lower right side of the building was busted out and warm musty air was wafting out... I was far too conflicted and unprepared to take a peak in.

What ya' think?

Gah, you're using one of those $12 wide-angle filters, aren't you? I think I'm going to be visiting Greenville this weekend and be free during the day. Most of those buildings are owned and I think they're used for warehouse space. You can check out the burned foundations of the old tobacco warehouse near there (big overgrown brick pit).

There are definitely abandoned things there, but I haven't ever scouted 'em.

Yeah i am :/ Too broke to get me a wide angle lens so i am dealing with this macro filter for the time being, i have to zoom a little to get rid of the vignette.

BUT IT MAKES MY PHOTOS LOOK OH SO HIP AND AVANT-GARDE

My camera is all kinds of ghetto rigged with its filter adapters (sense i can only afford one size of filters for my two lenses haha )

I've been shooting my pics on a stock lens. Too broke to get L series, but I am on the road so saving some cash for one.
