Any local MD explorers know what this is?

Some random google mapping brought me to noticing an odd small clearing in the woods, with what looks like a house.

http://maps.google...,0.002253&t=h&z=20

Has anybody been out here? is this abandoned?
It's marked as being parkland, but I don't want to run into some unpleasant homeowners or the pigs, especially with my already shitty legal situation.

For what it's worth I don't see a driveway or vehicles.

I'm not local, but I did cross-check with Bing's birdeye and it appears to be a house. Bing maps are usually a bit older than Google so it might be abandoned now, but Bing has two trucks out front of the house. I could be wrong though.

It's probably a ranger station.

If it's in a state forest (where you can legally be sunrise to sundown) and you can get to the property without crossing any signs (you'd be surprised how many times they only posted on one or two sides) you are golden.

Go for a hike, get some fresh air.

alright, I'll be checking that out. I'm not sure what a ranger station would be doing there... it seems to be the middle of nowhere, despite being a park.

There's a driveway off Daniels Road, you can see it on Bing.

there are a few ruins nearby, so this could be one of them. I'll be near there tomorrow, so I'll check it out!

hahaha, I'd been avoiding the area ever since I overheard some scanner traffic about the business in there having a car stolen. eddy's welding or whatever it was in there.

if it gets less snowy/muddy soon I'll check out the location.

I live pretty close to there and go swimming by that house every summer. I have not seen anyone living there in 2 years. There used to be a green subaru forester that would drive back to it and stay there. They also used to have a few dogs. Eversince they put up the gate so you cant drive back there its been empty as far as I know. There were no tire tracks any of the times it snowed.

That church is pretty cool and there are a few random cars/junk piles in the woods.
