| | | I'm interested to know if anyone has explored, or is interested in exploring, the Montgomery Building in downtown Spartanburg, SC. It's a ten-story building that has been abandoned for a couple decades and also houses a theater in the basement, the Carolina Theatre. Elvis played a show there in 1956. It seems very interesting, given its history. I have located the point of entry, which is out of sight of all cameras. Anyone interested?

| | | It's currently owned by a Florida-based holding company, Cypress Lending Group, so the owners won't be around. In the image below, it's the large building on the right. I had some concerns about the amount of traffic around it, but a friend and I made sure that our entrance was out of sight. The building used to house the news headquarters of a local news station, along with the old Denny's headquarters. Here's a link to a news article about it from my local paper: http://www.goupsta...925/NEWS/709250327
