Oh word, another ethics thread. Get the fuck over yourselves.

^Unfortunately inevitable with this topic. With this faithful crowd, trying to keep ethics out of this topic is like trying to keep Lindsay Lohan out of Rehab. It just isn't happening for long.

I have found and now savor on my bookshelf:

~Rusted Railroad spikes
~A Strip of Film Negatives
~A copy of the master set of Keys to a school. (Torn Down Now)

I like to think no one will miss these things. Judge me if you will.

Can't buy med-x or purified water for nothin' ya know!

If you want to protect the locations you love to explore, don't talk about them online in public!
If you want to make exploring friends, send people private messages! Meet up in real life! Get off the internet!

People that take stuff, that's fine. I do it myself. People that don't take stuff, that's fine too. But stop preaching to each other who is right and who is wrong. To each, their own. For people who break laws regularly, the lot of you seem to get rather uppity when people don't follow "The Rules." There are no rules and there are no guidelines, aside from what the laws on the books state.

Take cinder blocks and a tire iron from inside. Leave them behind, take the wheels?

I just find it easier to strip the building of copper, burn it down after taking a BIG MESSY DUMP, and then tag everything around it.

I collect other collectors, but just the bones.

Your security measures were inadequate.
How unfortunate for you.

Back on topic:

I have asked for and received permission to take an antenna. I just called the property owner and said "I'm a ham radio operator, I was walking by your building and noticed the previous tenant had left an antenna..."

He cut me off with "You can have it". He was probably afraid I'd tell him about ham radio. That seems to be a fear a lot of normal people have.

I'm scared. Please, no more.
I think that antenna may be cursed. It was too easy.

You'll end up with a house full of junk.
Easier to just look, once you start taking things your motives have shifted from exploring to salvage, and the complications that go with it.

Having your morals change might not apply to everyone. Just because I gave the bike a new home does not mean I explore to salvage or that I've become a hoarder. I prefer to leave things. This bike was the only exception. Also, I don't have a house full of junk.
