Visiting Vancouver and UBC

Hello, Canadians.

This weekend I'm heading up north and I wanted to know if there was anything to see. I'll only be there through this weekend so I won't have time to scout things out as I normally would to find stuff.

I was wondering if you might help me. Are there any "sure thing" places that aren't too hard to get in to or are relatively easy to find?

So far all I've got is that hidden streams map and crossing that with a Google maps overlay to try to figure my way around. I was wondering if you might point me in the right direction to get me started.

Sincerely,

Guy from California

edit: I won't have a car but I'm pretty good at walking and taxis.

Not sure what "up north" means but if you hit Van you won't be disappointed.

Oh yeah, Vancouver. The Big V. V town.

Are the places in the UE DB decent? Are there some others I should keep an eye out for?

UBC has steam tunnels.

You could try to ninja your way into the Dunsmuir tunnel in Downtown.
