| | | I laughed at the comments made about authorities trolling this website for purposes of hindering explorers. I didn't think there would be blabbers/rats finking on users here, especially at the full member level. Well after the event Saturday I can tell you that I know for a fact that I was either blabbed or spied by authorities. I watched two shifts of cops try to catch explorers in the act! After the time of the event a local sheriff simply patrolled repeatedly the areas listed in the UE DB for the event. So not only did they note the activity in the event list(which I know is public), but they also used the information listed in the database for the locations to patrol. We outsmarted the law and used wooded coverage to move around them. I suspect that the authorities themselves aren't spending time investigating the forums and it's more likely they were informed by a non-law enforcement person. And to that person with no life and an urge to meddle, "FUCK YOU!". From now on I'll just privately message the people I have established trust with from UER so HA HA! A note for all reading this, be careful!

| | | I still figure a hunter found it and told a Ranger [I'm sure it's been crawling w/ hunters since (and especially on) last weekend]... and it's still possible that certain acts were observable by some "horse people". Occam's Razor - it's simpler to think they found a new POE to a well-known (and much publicized) location, than that somebody on here tipped somebody off. Also, I forgot to say thanks for the chili. Good stuff. Also, Yeeeeeeeeaaaaahhh!

Yeeeeeaaahhh! Your welcome for the chili! Even with the cop hassles, I did have a fun adventure. That "Indiana Jones" style river crossing was the business! Well he occam's razor theory certainly could explain the bulldozer, but what about the stepped up and thorough police patrolling during the event? I have never seen a cop actually get out and check entrances before.

Couldn't find any info on spiderpex searching the current and archived posts but I assume it was a similar situation to what happened to me. I guess I just have to learn shit the hard way unfortunately. Lesson learned though!!
