|  | | | So I've been wanting to check out this place for a long time so we finally made it out yesterday. We walked around it but they got it locked up good and we didn't wanna jump the fence during the day since the police station is 2 blocks away. I've been told by the townies that it's an old automotive plant and they are in the process of making it into a museum. Anyways I was wondering if anyone has been in this place and if its worth the risk.

| | | | My mom who works at the Iowa DOT said that the DOT actually owns this building, and they are the ones who are renovating it into the transportation museum. She also heard that about 2 weeks ago one of the buildings had a fire, although while we were there yesterday we didnt notice any signs of fire. No word on the actual history of the building though.
I prefer to think of the homeless as "out doorsy". Shine on Urban campers, you smell like adventure. |

They quit making cars in 1916 when they couldn't compete with Ford's competitively price cars, but continued to make truck bodies.
It's pretty tight. I got in there once, but only because there were other people inside working and I just sorta slid in.

Wow I never would of thought that the tower was taller. The top looks too level. I wanna get in there bad. Radio we should get together some time to explore.
