| | | It was pretty run down, but worth the drive for sure. The coolest part was the creepy double doors half way up the stairs to the second floor. LaughingMan - Your D3000 really captured the bright red water in the toilet nicely lol.
I prefer to think of the homeless as "out doorsy". Shine on Urban campers, you smell like adventure. |

| | | Ha ha ha funny story, when we get caught or there's people around I just tell them I'm doing a research project at Iowa State about how schools are moving towards larger consolidated schools. After that I almost always get a tour or at least look around. I gotta work with what Iowa has, which happens to be plenty of early 1900's school buildings in rural towns. There's lots of cool stuff to see and most of these towns don't have local cops.

That's true. Even Grimes, which is fairly large, depends on the State Patrol and the Polk County Sheriff for law enforcement. Even the towns that do have cops, they usually only work weekends and 1 or 2 days during the week.
