Also, she has seen AvChat sessions over my shoulder and concluded that most of the 15 year olds participating are very disturbed, low self-esteemed, faux artistes, that really need some parental supervision, or a good kick in the ass!
Just wondering? How supportive is your non UE partner? (for those that fit this category)

| | | | Fortunately I don't have to worry about that.. Bizzy is usually the one pushing a "field trip" even if it's a dead end. But, she's always game, tolerates my anal photo setups, loves being there and loves the history/ mystery she gets to see (and she's a good photographer herself).
I can't say enough good things about Bizzy, I love her, appreciate her and wouldn't trade her for anything.

But this guy really has no emotions that show hard so we will go do something and he always seems bored out of his mind... lol He says he would like the tunnels and stuff better a lot better but I don't like them. He is very supportive though.

Unfortunately, at the moment he lives 300 km away, so I'll have to do most of the exploration alone. (that is, when there is some - this area really lacks any UE-able locations.)

She's always interested in seeing the photos and hearing about the trips. Mind you she bitches about my computer time, but the majority of that computer time doesn't really relate to UE directly anyways. Ah well... it's all good.

Basically, she worries - when i am gone, similar to what has already been said, i just make a quick call on the way in and one on the way out. she always keeps her cell on just in case i need a pick up from the local cop shop : )
only one rule, really: no going underground by myself. she doesn't mind abandoned buildings or whatever on my own, but any time i am going underground i have to have someone she considers trustworthy with me, in case things go wrong.
pretty reasonable, as far as i am concerned, given the nature of the hobby and what she has to put up with because of it.

When I met her she had been going into abandoned buildings for years, but didn't really know about the semi-organized UE community. She comes along on pretty much all of my trips unless she is unable to due to work or other obligations, and gives me crap when I get to go on a trip and she can't. She's also pretty much the most hardcore person I've explored with, she doesn't freak out or get scared in places, unlike some of the dudes I explore with. I'm glad to have found someone that is as curious and fearless as myself about exploring, it really sucks having to turn back early because someone gets freaked out for no reason.
