On our way to the Rodeo...

We passed a few towns that were "less than in-habited" but this building in particular got my attention. It looked like it may have been an antique shop at one time. Now the roof had fallen in. There was a police station across the street, but I was sure not to wake up the officer that was "resting" outside. I'm sure he was just taking a smoke break. Rural Oklahoma.1.

Very cool, reminds me of a route 66 trip I took. I wonder what was in that fry pan, Cat? Mophead? Oppossum?

We wondered about that pan to! So we poked it with a stick. After we did that for a while, my husband the "brave hunter" came to the conclusion...it was some sort of decorative piece of wood. It looked like a brain to me.

I've been meaning to ask about your avatar.

Do you have a pet bobcat, that used to have a pet catfish?

My avatar...

I live in Oklahoma, so I will fill you in. Here in Oklahoma people go fishing, ALOT, and one of the major fish in this state, is catfish. SOME people not all, but some, will bring home the catfish, and put them in the bathtub so they can flush out their "mudvein". Kind of like if shrimp could swim around in clean water before they got cooked, they wouldn't have that "shit-vein" down their back! (Also, I catch all the fish, so I like to keep them alive till my husband gets home so HE has to clean them)

As far as the cat....I plead the 5th on the breed.

I just had a mess "O" shitvein tacos last night.........Mudvein tacos sounds much better...

I found a little kittie like yours at a construction site. Momma relocated one of them and left the other one for a few days. By the time I was aware of his plight, it was too late. Fleas had sucked him dry, we worked on him for a few hours, but couldn't help him.

I've raised a few raccoons from kits......Great tacos those coonies.

So, you are really holding live catfish in your tub? For what reason?

Tact is the ability to shut your mouth before someone else wants to. :)

LOL, don't think I'm one to stick a rotting fish head on MY fence, THAT's an Oklahoma thing, I moved here from Indiana....no fish heads there!
