Its pretty awesome and has been done many times. Bring some kind of hook and rope contraption to get yourself up on to the entrance ledge.

Ape is right, watch out for bird shit even in the fall. My camera got pooped on...

The Coast Guard? Are you guys serious? They dont give a SHIT about Ft. Carroll.
