Any Paris Urbex sites/any Cataphiles?

I was just wondering if anyone here knows any Parisian Cataphiles or related forums? I'm not usually a forum dweller, but I'm planning a trip in December (any time - hopefully for 4days/3nights) and would like to find a guide!

I've already perused a copy of the Nexus map (v5.2) and the scale of them looks amazing. I've done a fair bit of research, and maybe able to find a guide off of friends that have been before! Alas, as I'm dying for a trip and looking to plan one straight away I figured I should search everywhere!

Cheers!

Cheers!

I've done a little more digging now and know the locations of one or two bits and pieces! Hoping to find a local now!

The PC entrance is pretty well guaranteed to be open but is of course riskier due to this very fact. Watch for the flicks ;)

The PC entrance is very grand and on a little belt, right? ;)

You don't need a guide. Bring the map, three light sources, and some food and water and you'll be fine.

If you're worried about going alone, you'll have a lot better luck (and a lot better time) if you grab another friend, or maybe peruse the UK boards for someone who hasn't been and wants to spend the time schlepping around and taking photos. The maps don't have every single thing, but they are incredibly comprehensive and point out pretty much all of the major attractions you're going to want to see. Trust me, you will not miss a whole lot if you don't have a local with you.

One day someone is going to make a killing as a cata "guide." I bet they could get away with a 500 Euro day rate with some people.

Yeah, Im coming over to the idea of leaving it without a tour guide now. The more I read, plus the quality of the maps I've seen.

I just hope my sense of confidence will spread to the others!

I think the main thing about having a tour guide was the fact it was almost garuanteed access; I know it sounds lazy, but I can't help but wonder *what if* we get there and it doesn't quite go to plan!
