fox inn, fox cities, wisconsin.

my brother and i decided to hit up the fox inn once again.
the first/previous time i was there, i had a feeling, with all the vandalism and such, that it would most likely be torn down or secured better in the near future. well, i was correct, and unfortunately, we didn't make it in time. we shouldn't have waited so long, i suppose.
as you can see in the photos, pretty much everything, including the entire lobby building, has been completely boarded up and the doors relocked/nailed shut. also, from what i can see, the rooms have now been gutted of almost all furniture and such (although there may still be things in the boarded up rooms). the only things left unboarded/non-sealed are the windows on the second floor, that have yet to be smashed, and the basement, which really doesn't have too much going for it, other than a bunch of junk.
well, i take that back. the laundry machines were pretty cool. the previous time i was there, we didn't venture into the basement, for it was extremely moldy, and we could barely breathe. this time, it was fine.

i suppose the place isn't really worth checking out anymore.
either way, we snapped some shots and went on our way to the next location.
enjoy.

apparently, from the research i did, two rooms on the second floor had been turned into meth labs after the inn was already abandoned. please correct me if i am wrong.

love the last one ...

did a couple shoots there before they reboarded it up ... shoulda spent more time shooting the rooms/etc than the models, but oh well ... won't be long till it is opened up again ...

haha, true story. looks like they mean business this time though. plus, if they did actually empty out the rooms, that means less fun to be had and less photo opportunities unfortunately. however, i cannot not tell, since i cannot even see in most rooms any longer. i guess we'll see!
