That was one of Noah's pics. I doubt I'm in the wrong anything. I do however remember some talk about respirators for such an easy building, with no logical reasons. I guess I'm just such an old fart that I automatically discount people's opinions when it comes to such stupid talk like that. We forget that people used to work there every day. Now someone spending a few hours there might be in danger?? These same people seem to be so fixated on pictures. You were there and have many of the same pictures we did. I have never been in it for pictures alone. I'm very big on history, brickwork, danger, a few brews, and most of all enjoying it with friends. I've opened and rapped into shit you could only dream of. But you're right, I am an asshole. The only thing I have a problem with is girls that take stupid safety precautions to either seem cool, or because they actually believe that it is being safe. Cheap ass masks don't do what people think they do. And pictures don't amount to shit. Since you're so big into history, I'd like to hear what you know about the brewery, or any other brewery. Then I'd be impressed.

How about this...me and anyone else here can wear a fucking respirator and/or surround ourselves in medium density foam while just walking around our living room and it is still NONE OF YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS.

You just said people USED to work there? This proves how genius you are. Doctors used to prescribe cigarettes for people with low blood sugar dipshit. Times change and for the simple reason that lung cancer sounds like about as much fun as the liver failure you will be enjoying in a few years, I'll do my best to avoid it.

Read this thread from the beginning to the end from an outsiders point of view and you will want to ask yourself to eat a bag of dicks also. Go act like an e-tough guy in another thread. Please.

Well it seemed like a hardcore weekend in some abandoned buildings that need respirators. I didn't see anything there that would warrant a respirator, but if I did, it wouldn't be the cheap hardware store kind. Those never fit as tight as people would like to think. I'm sure you're not a doctor, but you seem smart enough to test it out and find out for yourself. Every time I paint a car or bike I wear one to catch as much as I can, but I still have blue boogers, or whatever color I'm shooting. Try it and check right around the nose piece, you'll see plenty of paint that gets through. I was just fucking with ya, it's good to see someone in the PNW that actually does something instead of just talking about how Level 8 they are about exploring, like it makes you cool or something. But when you're all done acting all butt hurt, I encourage you to get the facts. And no I personally don't consider that place dangerous, I've been to a few though. My point is that being safe and thinking you are are sometimes two different things. There was a guy around here that rapped off a bridge onto ice on the Mississippi in an area where it never freezes very thick because of the water flow. He used nylon hardware store rope. He made it, but if he continues to think that he will always get away with that setup, good chance he dies. He said he tested the rope, yet he didn't know the break strength. Climbing rope has a sheath around the actual part that does the real work. Reason being is that decending makes alot of heat. I encourage anyone to learn more about their equipment and choose the right equipment for the job. Blind faith can get you into more trouble sometimes. You can take it or leave it. BTW there are a few Titan's and old radar sites in the area you may be interested in.

I drink gasoline for breakfeast and beer for dinner!
Any problem can be licked with a case of beer and a few sticks of dynamite.

Now thats actually a reasonable response. Thanks! I'm always interested in new spots, but I'm def. not a climber, so some of them might be a bit too hardcore for me. What is a Titan? Shoot me a PM if you're willing to share some info about those spots.

Titan's are military missile silos, usually underground. I didnt realize that there were any in the Seattle area. Now that would be a bad ass explore!
